The Northern Colorado Hospitality Sector Partnership All-Partner Meeting was held on Tuesday, November 12th from 3:00-5:00pm at the Hilton Fort Collins. Around 39 people attended the meeting, including 8 public/supporting partners.
Jeff Brown, Co-Chair and Owner of the Still Whiskey Steaks in Fort Collins, started the meeting by welcoming attendees and introducing the industry leaders in the sector partnership.
Tiffany Helton and Lauren Storeby, with the Online Restaurant Academy, reviewed the Hospitality Career Advancement Program’s details and updates. The first and second cohorts for the program have been completed. The third cohort is currently in progress and the fourth cohort is now open for enrollment. Enrollment for the fourth cohort of the Career Advancement Program closes 1/17/25. The cohort session will run from 1/21/25 through 3/4/25. Bryce Moffitt, a student from cohort one, gave a student testimonial for how the program has made a positive impact on his career path in the hospitality industry.
Attendees moved into Action Team groups: Retail, Food & Beverage, and Hotels. Groups were led by members of the Leadership Team for the partnership and discussed what each action team would like to prioritize.
